Covid was the biggest challenge we’ve ever faced. It’s been tough, especially for our young people.

Nonetheless educators across the country put on a show for Careers Week over the last two years and really engaged with our Virtual Careers Fair – an online alternative to the many events we couldn’t do in person.

We’ve had over one million views over the Covid Careers Weeks, with close to 100 sponsors taking part each year.

The good news is that we will be back again, bigger and better with our online offering as it has proved to be a great resource, widely used up and down the country.

You can have a wee watch of Bernie’s webinar from 2021 that serves as a great reminder of what you can be doing to start planning for Careers Week this year.

Since you were last here, we also ran a hugely successful Green Careers Week that you can still visit.

We also had a full redesign of our main nationalcareersweek.com site that’s worth a look too!

National Careers Week (NCW) is a celebration of careers guidance and free resources in education across the UK. The aim is to provide a focus for careers guidance activity at an important stage in the academic calendar to help support young people leaving education.

The Virtual Careers Fair was our response to the pandemic after a decade of hugely successful in-person activities across the country, provided totally free of charge to the end users.

With over one million views of sponsor pages and content during Careers Week over the last two years, it’s not too late to get involved this time.

Careers Week starts on 6th March 2023 so if you would like to find out more information about sponsoring and/or exhibiting on the Virtual Careers Fair this year, please contact:

Last year we ran our very first Green Careers Week too, showcasing hundreds of opportunities in the Green Sector. We had over 60k views and 10k resource downloads over the week.

Tens of thousands of students across the country took part in Careers Week last year, having an opportunity to access the Virtual Careers Fair and take part in other careers activities.

The careers fair had close to 100 exhibitors last year for you to look at and investigate. You don’t just have to be in school to access the Virtual Careers Fair though.

After the 4th March, you can visit:
