Wellbeing

Everyone has mental health and our mental wellbeing can vary day-to-day. When you’re not feeling great, it can feel even harder to take action to benefit your wellbeing. There are small steps we can take in our everyday lives to better look after our mental wellbeing. According to the British Medical Association, research shows that there are many benefits of taking action to support your wellbeing, things like:

  • Greater self-confidence & control
  • Improved quality of life
  • Healthier behaviours
  • Better understanding of your own health

If you are a student that is thinking about or going to HE, all institutions have support services for students to access. You will find this on your university website, portal or you can ask a tutor/ lecturer.
